Not the Prophet Elijah afterall

Yesterday afternoon I received an email from somebody looking for the cat pictured above. It's "Ellie" aka Elijah (see previous post)! "Vivian" had escaped on March 11th from an apartment just a few blocks from the MJK alley where she was found. It was quite a coincidence that our network managed to find her on Monday, and that her owner contacted me on Tuesday. Or was it divine intervention (I am struggling to hold onto my Elijah motif)? We're delighted that Vivan and her mom are together again.

The profit Elijah, Ellie, Vivian, in all incarnations, is CUTE.
CUTE CUTE CUTE. Worthy of devine intervention. CUTE I tell you.

Great news that Vivian has been reunited with her carer - I hope her 3 weeks in the wilderness were not too hard on her! And great news that people are hearing about HPC!

Perhaps instead, after 3 weeks gone, an allusion to the fellow traveller on the road . . . who this time was recognized before the breaking of the bread.

How fortunate for her owner that you found her and cared for her but I would be reluctant to return a cat that the owner hadn't even bothered to spay! Hopefully she will be more careful with her and take better care of her from now on.

The kitty was spayed (we just always work under the assumption that outdoor cats are not spayed).

I am glad Vivian has a home, but I hope her "mom" was checked out. I would be suspicious of the "coincidence" of finding her and posting about her and then having her "mom" contact you....I hope for the kitty's sake this was somehow verified!!!!!
