What a great email I received:

Dear Hyde Park Cats,

A few weeks ago a loud mewing interrupted a night of TV watching. A can of tuna and a lot of coaxing later we finally got Otho out from under a car near the Kimbark Plaza. He was pretty oily at the time but he has cleaned up really well and now can't stand to be away from his human parents (his photo is below). Otho received a clean bill of health from the vet and will be returning later in the summer to be fixed. After looking at your website we found that Otho wasn't the only Roman Emperor in the neighborhood (Nero made us smile). We will be on the look out for any mamma cats or kittens in the area and you will be the first people we call if we find others.

Thanks for all the great work!

Thank you, Emily! And mazel tov to you, OTHO!

We're happy for Otho, but what about all the cats we have available for adoption -- please consider one or more of our older kittens, like the COWTENS, their sister TALULLAH, or WEDNESDAY! We really need to find some adoptive homes for these wonderful cats. Please write and we can make a match.
