Nero
We were contacted by a woman who works for our local vet's office. She wrote that "a few days ago when I returned from vacation I found this beautiful and lovely cat hanging around in the common area of my apartment building. I brought him to the clinic and I found that he had an Animal Control microchip. I tracked the number and found the owners who I called. Unfortunately they moved out of Illinois and they don't want the cat. He is a very friendly, healthy and playful cat who needs somebody."
Nero is a healthy and beautiful 1.5/2 year old neutered male. He's been virus tested (neg/neg) and received his shots. He is staying in boarding space at the vet's office, but that is a very temporary solution. We have no foster spaces. Would you like to foster or adopt this handsome man who has found himself abandoned? Please write to us if you can help.
Thanks Anna W. for the cat tree!

Oh, Nero. My heart goes out to you.
Hope they moved to a treacherous environment. And if not, that it turns treacherous for them.
hahahahaha ... you preach it, mom.
Why would people who obviously don't care *that* much about their pet bother to microchip him?
poor little guy. my foster home will open up in a couple of weeks, but, hopefully he finds another home before that!
I feel so sorry for him, having had a real home and then being simply left behind. I'll call a friend who may be interested.
