Calamity Jane

Two portraits of Calamity Jane, formerly Moe, formerly of the Parkview Kats project. Here she is after discovering the joys of catnip. Thanks again to Aimee and Mary Jean for getting this kitty to a home, and to Helenmary for the home! This pretty kitty was only four pounds and was suffering from a serious virus when rescued from the streets. Looking good, Jane!

And another big purry thanks to Mike H., our sustaining donor!

Having met her "when," I am so happy Jane is inside with a person -

OK, another great coincidence. The rug in the picture is the very same I sold to Helenmary before coming down to Nic...I didn't know she was a Div student, nor (I think) did she know that I was the colleague of the Hyde Park Cats founders!...My own kitties spent many, many happy months lolling on self-same rug w/ catnip, toys etc. So happy to see C. Jane enjoying it too! The only challenge is the vacuuming. ;-)

Oh, wow, hi Sarah! This is indeed the same rug, and she loves it. :) I hope you're doing well in Nicaragua.

As for Jane, she's currently doing somersaults on my floor in pursuit of some balled-up bits of paper I threw for her. She LOVES to play, as Mary Jean initially predicted, though she's still not much of a cuddler. I'm woken up in the morning by her yowled demands not for food, but for playtime. She also likes to follow me from room to room, and has taken to perching on the edge of the bathtub just out of the water's reach when I shower...
