When I adopted my cat almost two years ago, the shelter said they had tried everything to get people interested in her over the 5 months she had been there. The staff just thought her being a black and white cat made her "boring". And the fact that she was already 5 years old. Well, she was just waiting for me to get her because she's the best cat ever.
